EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP

Niko Blakely is the Founder and CEO of The Simba Group, an investor, public speaker, philanthropist, and group economics enthusiast. He advises individuals and businesses through their financial life cycles, with a focus of helping them build a solid financial foundation, positioning them for future success. Mr. Blakely has proven strategies and experience providing services to individuals, private and public companies.

Early Life and Career

Born in Queens, NY and spending time between Queens and the Bronx, the big apple has taught Mr. Blakely the meaning of passion and grit. Intent on shifting family paradigms, Mr. Blakely trained as an accountant at Binghamton University, earning a B.S. in Accounting. Years later, while earning is Master’s degree from Baruch College, he served as the Executive Vice President of the Zicklin Graduate Accounting Society and assisted students with career development services. After graduation, he worked in public accounting at world renowned accounting firms, where his experience spanned tax, assurance, technical accounting, and financial due diligence, advising on, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and complex financial transactions.

Passion Projects

Mr. Blakely is an avid reader, an unofficial student of some of the greatest minds in business and culture, and has formulated methodologies related to group economics, developing financial freedom, and shifting the paradigm in underserved communities. In 2013 Mr. Blakely, founded a mentorship program developing life skills for under privileged young men, aged 11-18, through basketball skills training, academic tutoring and discussion. In 2016, he co-founded Make Your Money Work with Rebecca “Becky” Peters, founder and CEO of BxBookkeeping.com, a monthly meet up dedicated to improving and enhancing financial literacy in what is considered the poorest congressional district in the United States, the South Bronx.  Mr. Blakely is always setting goals that push his personal limits for toward ultimate fulfilment, he loves helping clients do the same thing. Some of his personal heroes are Malcolm X, Reginald F. Lewis, Dr. Claude Anderson, Robert F. Smith, Ermias (Nipsey Hussle) Asghedom and Sean (P. Diddy) Combs.
